I didn't even get the opportunity to do an extension program because of my appalling Psychology study score. So I just focused on my subjects this year, and eventually, managed to pass everything (don't know how I passed maths :O).

I guess not getting in isn't the end of the world... :)

OMG! I think we all know your bad at maths by now! How many times do u have to mention it already? Sorry its just getting frustrating that in all of your posts, your always referring to how bad at maths your are!

--- End quote ---

Lol, sorry... I'm going to spend the next few days apologising for my negative behaviour. :(

Don't apologise, you can come on here and vent all you want, the newbies these days are getting more and more lippy it seems

OMG, that is so true! I've been here forever, I deserve to vent the way I do! :)

Exactly! He's only got 2 posts, I think we know who the more valuable member is ;)

Yay! I feel so much better now. :smitten:

i must agree with BA22, wtf's up the newbies asses. A lot seem to think they either:

a) know everything
b) decide how people should behave
or
c) think they should equal respect as opposed to a long time contributer with quality posts.

EDIT: be have to behave

I'll paste here what I PM'ed dekoyl for people who do get rejected from UMEP. All hope is not lost!

UMEP rejected me way back in January of 2007 because my year 11 marks were terrible (I neglected all my 1+2s and concentrated solely on 3+4s done during year 11, a mistake I regret a little bit). In any case, my Methods 3+4 mark was reasonably good (44) so I wrote a letter of appeal to the dean of admissions for the extension program and my maths teacher put in a phonecall for me. Eventually, they agreed, and said it was because of my good methods mark and determination to get into the program (so really sound like you're eager about the program, but don't come across as TOO eager :P).
