No, unless you put in an irregular offer I believe

hard:
mm i think you have to reject the first offer but i'm not too sure. A mate of mine rejected engineering melb 85 ENTER first pref for rmit chem eng second pref 75 ENTER and yer got accepted. last year i think it was.

Couldn't you just re-order your preferences after you got your ENTER?

What happens if I decide after first round offers that I really want my second preference which my enter will likely be much higher than. on the one hand i want to try my luck with SEAS to see if I get an offer, and I do prefer my no 1 preference but it is possible I may change my mind.

I don't think so, as after December 22, your preferences cannot be changed anymore, and your order of preferences is what stands. But if you didn't get the ENTER for your first preference, then you will receive the next best preference to which your ENTER will suffice. You can try your luck with SEAS on the first preference if you wish, but if it fails through, then you will receive the next best preference, provided you get the ENTER for it.

Basically, always try to get a first round offer with your first preference if you can, and re-arrange your preferences before December 22 so this can be possible.
