Middle-band?

I checked the VTAC website for my particular course and it said this:

"Middle-band: Consideration will be given to performance in English (any), mathematics (any), science (any) and to Deakin Access and Equity Program applicants."



Does Access and Equity cover Special consideration 11/12 made through VTAC?

well basically, a middle band is something that they (uni) might consider or look into if you are below the clearly in or you don't meet all pre-requisites (something along those lines). In your specific dilemma, the uni will consider how well you went in any eng math or sci subject when selecting.

Yes. But in the middle band, it states that they consider the Access and Equity scheme. I applied for Special Consideration instead - will they also take this into account, or only A&E?

For these purposes, I believe so. But Access and Equity and yr11/12 Special Consideration are 2 different things. However, I think SEAS isn't in the middle band, because they can go lower than the fringe ENTER?
