YOUR "Number One" Movie of ALL TIME

Hey guys,

I'm compiling a list of "Must Watch" Movies for entertainment and was wondering:

What is YOUR "Number One" Movie of ALL TIME, at the TOP of your list?

And please give a brief description as to "why".

Thanks!
I believe life is constantly testing us for our level of commitment and life's greatest rewards are reserved for those who show a never-ending commitment to act until they achieve. This level of resolve can move mountains, but it must be constant and consistent. As simplistic as this may sound, this is still the common denominator that separates those who live their dreams to those who live in regret.

Donnie Darko. It's different and it's got a good plot.

Taxi Driver. Alongside "Raging Bull", I think this is De Niro's best performance. It's well directed by Scorsese too.

I don't have a favorite, but I like Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, and 2001: A Space Odyssey (some people don't like this last one).

Wtf how come Titanic was so popular! I thought it was a pretty mediocre film.

I liked Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

It explored the nature of love and memory.

Don't worry. It's one of those films that doesn't have a clear ending, and leaves it open to the audience to speculate. Surely you picked up some things though, like how the girl recognised her mum at the end, even though she never met her.

I didn't really like the film. I thought it was overrated, and the scenes were too dark (lighting-wise) for my liking.

Yeah: fun films I like to watch: School of Rock and Harold and Kumar. They are light-hearted and can lift the mood :)

I also forgot: Thank You for Smoking (I just remembered this right now, and added it to my Facebook profile too)
It is a film that you can sense has a political message to it, but instead: it doesn't pretentiously advocate some particular side on the issue. It is a refreshing satire of the tobacco industry and their lawyers, but ultimately it does not want to change the tobacco industry: it respects the freedom to smoke.
