Now now children, let us all play nice-like. I want everyone to take a step back (not literally, you won't be able to read the computer screen. I meant it metaphorically) and view the situation with out bias. The situation as I see it is RIDICULOUS! If Mao needed the notes so badly he could have taken the time to photocopy them, or derive his own notes. Likewise if Caramel wanted her notes back so urgently, she would have asked earlier than she did. This is a game of tug of war and whoever cries the loudest and throws the biggest tantum will win. Let the games begin!

Any set date on when you plan on returning them, if you are at all?

Wait, I don't see the problem here, according to brendans post caramel has offered to go pick up the book, right?

So why can't that happen? It'll only take like a minute or two to get the door and hand the book back. Problem solved?

Because he won't tell me his address when I asked for it and I cannot determine using the white pages which house is his. Thus I cannot make my own way to pick them up.

But Mao didn't give Caramel his address? Or have I misread through the whole thing? :P

EDIT: So I was reading correctly :)

EDIT 2: Good luck caramel! Hopefully you get your notes back and the dispute is settled with little commotion... Although I don't think this is possible now. :(. I know how it felt to lose one of my priceless note books... :'(

Fuck I'm so smart. On a mutually agreeable date, Mao is to leave the bound notes in a national park or other relatively empty place) close to his house (easily accessable for Mao to get too). He will hide it somewhere and tell her where it is. She will pick it up from there with exacal. Everyone is happy.

I want them back because they're mine. Why the hell wouldn't I want my belongings back :P

Fair enough. He should give it back because it belongs to you. But surely there is no urgency to get you're VCE study notes back. I mean, when you get them back, I'd happily place a bet that you wouldn't start reading and studying the notes immediately, because lets face it, you don't need them anymore. If you genuinely want to expand your knowledge further on the subject, perhaps read some other resources. To be honest, I think you're being anal about the situation and just need to move on for you're own benefit.

Hehe, that is actually quite smart... But will it be convenient for BOTH of them?

The fact that this has been dragged out onto a public forum is somewhat sad

But costargh nominates himself as a middle-man for this 'transaction' as Mao and caramel probably don't want to be talking, and once he finds out this secret place, he runs down and ends up taking the notebook for himself. COMMOTION ENSUES! WILL CARAMEL EVER GET HER NOTEBOOK BACK!? FIND OUT NEXT TIME ON VN.
