Newspaper Article on VCE Notes

misskaraleah:
Being an aspiring journalist and needing to build my folio , I'm considering writing a piece on VCE Notes.  But what to write on and whether to write a piece is the question.

Im considering sending my work to the local Leader newspapers, and possibly some of the larger newspapers, yet im not too sure what to write it on.

I'm think it would be wise to include the success rate of students on the forum, the different types of boards available, the actual website featuring free A+ standard notes, that the notes are pretty much free of charge and the tutoring services available.

What does everyone else think?

Oh and if it goes ahead, i will most likely need quotes from willing 'forumers'  :D who basically want to talk up the site and how it has changed their VCE life :P
as well as our success rate and average ENTER/ss.

:):):)

I reckon this would be awesome thing to do.

The article could feature in the "Education" section that appears in the Age newspaper every Monday.!!!!

clinton_09:
or the education section that features in the Herald Sun on Tuesday.

Here's my quote

--- Quote from: Glockmeister on October 20, 2008, 10:01:04 pm ---"Before I started using VCE Notes, I was a A+ student.  Now my grades are a steady UG and I am confident with my failing ability! Now I know how to study effectively with the well-renowned 'Procrastinate' method. Thank you VCE notes!"

--- End quote ---

^lol.

I think it's a good idea, and it's a good way for you to build up your portfolio too. Also, I can be available for comment once you want to start writing it up, if you want. It might also be a good idea to trawl through old posts and if you find a good quote, ask the permission of the poster to write it up. It's more genuine that way, I think.
