UPDATE:

24/3/09

Hey there guys,

Just letting you know the progress of the VN article.

Firstly, I'd like to thank everyone that contributed and helped with the construction of the story- it was really great to see so many people eager to get this project rolling.

And yes----- ITS GETTING PUBLISHED!!


Where: Learn section of the Herald Sun.
When: Tuesday 21st April.

What else was said by the editor:

She basically said that she would be editing it slightly, to ensure the story didnt come across blatantly promoting the site!

That the story (the second draft) was more better suited to the Learn section, than the first (more newsworthy and the one actually published on VN)

Lastly, she said that the statistics mentioned (about how the average ENTER score for the site in 08 was in the 90s) wasnt scientifically mentioned, and said she would have to change the wording in some way.

But rememeber thats what editors are paid to do- edit.

So at the end of the day, and extended thanks to all those that helped, and thanks VN for proving a very newsworthy source.
