I'm currently watching (according to MAL):
1. Bakemonogatari
2. Durarara!!
3. Full Metal Panic!
4. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
5. Kanon (2006) - still deciding whether to use Doki or Coalgirls 1080p releases...any opinions?

Can anyone recommend me more decent mecha series?

So far, I've got:
Gundam 00 s1+2
Eureka Seven
Full Metal Panic!
Gundam Seed - waiting for blu-rays zzzzz

Any others that are decent?

Someone say Mecha?

Macross (THE ORIGINAL, screw Frontier, this is the best Anime of all time)
Macross: Do you remember Love (film retelling of the original, arguably better than the series)
Most Gundam series (SEED/SEED Destiny suck) - highly recommend Gundam 0080, Gundam X, G Gundam and the original series (Mobile Suit Gundam)

Yeah TTGL was good!

In my opinion, it's fairly action packed (it can frequently get rather intense, at times, during those battle sequences...) and relatively heavy on the music (considering the premise of idols/popstars). But they're pretty top-notch songs I reckon - if anything, at times they help build upon the mood during the action/mecha sequences of the show.

Worth checking out in my opinion, if not for its slick CGI sequences...

On another tangent, who has seen Baka to Test to Shōkanjū? Sounds pretty mindless, but I hear it's quite entertaining... Thoughts?

Working! - interesting premise, and judging by chara. design + A-1 Pictures, I'm guessing they'll be some sort of K-On! (moe-fied) twist to it...
K-On! - OK, I'm a bit of a sucker for anything KyoAni, and since I watched the 1st season...
Arakawa under the Bridge - it's a SHAFT series, so that's an automatic addition to my watchlist. Plus, I hear the premise sounds fairly trippy at times...
Angel Beats - Key adapation? NOT by KyoAni? Count me interested  :P

I'll also add Black Rock Shooter (OVA) and (maybe) Iron Man, just to see how it goes...
