What's your favorite anime ?

Really depends on the anime/manga, for example, a musically based anime such as Nodame Cantabile I cannot imagine enjoying whilst reading the manga. It needs sound!

Because I'm guessing the anime generally cuts out a lot of the manga in editing, or deviates completely (eg. FMP, FMA1, Hellsing 1). Also, sometimes the overall style is changed from the manga -> anime conversion to make it more marketable.

Yes, enhanced/extended and original story just as the author intended.

the only thing i thank manga for is that without manga there would be no anime, since most animes originate from mangas. but besides that i'd never ever read a manga.

I can't watch anime movies =\ they're too slow for me. I struggled my way through 5cm/s

Does anyone know exactly how long FMA:Brotherhood is going on for? It's currently at Ep 47 and I would like to start watching it, but if it doesn't stop at 50 eps I'm afraid I'll finish before the series finishes

I dunno when it ends, but the story does seeeem to be reaching a conclusion soon.

It's so much more epic than the first series.

EDIT: But it defs won't end at 50.
