Can someone show me how to write/graph: on the graphics calculator. Ti-83 or someshit.

also how do we write on the graphics calc

NOTE: the square root includes the whole of 9-x^2

set the window for x min: -3 and x max: 3

then go to Y editor and type in the graph in Y1

there's no infinity function on the ti-83 iirc, but im not sure about this

Actually to restrict the domain you can writer after the square root function in brackets that (-3 < X < 3) which will automatically restrict the domain. I find that better than adjusting the window but that's just me

sweet thanks.

okay you know what, this is pissing me off! i don't know how to compensate for the infinity sign since i can't find it anywhere on the calculator and now i can't do the equations as they require i know how to do the min and max doms on the calculator! SOOOOOOOOOOOOO howwww do it do it anyone????

basic answer, you cant do infinity on the calc, it cant cope with it.

To be technical, -1E99 and 1E99 are not infinite - they are used as replacements of on the TI83/84 which gives an answer close to the "actual" answer.
