Breadth subjects etc - confused

Ive been accepted to do Commerce at Melb UNi.

How many commerce subjects do I have to do a year, and how many 'breadth' ones must I do?

I find the system so confusing, especially with all the points etc. Do you have to do 1 breadth subject and stick with it over the course of the 3 years?

mark_alec:
Each year you will do 6 commerce subjects and 2 breadth. You do not have to stick with the same breadth stream all the way through, but you will need to have at least one 300-level (third year) breadth subject.

here, Brendan suggests subjects that qualify as breadth, but are nonetheless directly related to commerce

^Helpful link that.

So who doing Commerce has decided their breadth subjects yet??

So far I'm thinking:
- Principles of Business Law
- Corporate Law
- Taxation Law
- Statistics

And haven't decided on the other 2.

I'm definitely going to do those 3 law subjects for Accounting accreditation, not sure of the others, maybe 800-116 Generating the Wealth of Nations...that looks interesting.
