Doing Commerce at Melb UNi - My subjects already chosen?

Hey,

I've done most of the steps for my enrolment online for BCOM, and when I go to see my subjects, it looks like they are already their for me. Does every first year BCOM student do these?

 Transition to Commerce
Accounting Reports and Analysis    
Introductory Microeconomics    
Quantitative Methods
Business Process Analysis    
Accounting Transactions and Analysis    
Introductory Macroeconomics


So I don't get to chose any other subjects like umm Finance, Marketing or something, other than my 2 breadth subjects yeah?

I asked about this in the UoM thread, but nobody really answered. Only three of those are stated as compulsory. I'm assuming we'll be able to change them after our appointments.

if your majoring in accounting, then yes, pretty much you need to do those subjects, along with business law or sumthing as a breadth.

i would delete "transition to commerce" its really annoying when it comes to timetabling, and you can go to "transition to commerce" anyway regardless of whether you are officially enrolled.

So I assume as champorado said, we'll be able to change them after Academic Advice Day.
