Too late to change 3/4 subjects?

Hello,
I'm currently doing Music Styles and Composition 3/4 through Distance Ed, and was wondering whether it's too late to move to Further 3/4? I know it's probably past the cut-off date, but my school hasn't had any sacs yet, and I'm sure there'd be no exam clashes with a subject like Further if I change. My school says that it's too late, but I wasn't sure if I'm past VCAA's cut-off date. Thanks!
