The ATAR and Results Build Up Thread!

So, we are nearly there.  Just over two weeks to go.  

Anyone starting to get anxious?  I know I am!

What are peoples plans for the night/morning?

I am not sure whether to go out and not think about it or stay home and go on VN chat like last year, which was quite fun.

Share your experiences and thoughts or stories in here, even past students, of receiving your results.

(I know there will be a results discussion sub-forum so maybe the mods can move this thread once it is created)

woot, its so far away (~15 days o-o), so no need to plan exactly what yet ;p

I think this is a pretty solid plan:

1. Set ALL of alarm clocks to ring at 6:00 (or alternatively, pull an all-nighter).
2. Log into the VCE results website at 6:30 - continuously refreshing the page until something interesting pops up.
** If you have forgotten your VTAC number and/or pin due to the stress/excitement, throw a major tantrum
     If not proceed to next step.**
3. Take a deep, deep breath.
4. Look at each individual study scores first - not forgetting to laugh at your Religion & Society score.
5. Take an even deeper deep breath.
6. Look at your ATAR/ENTER Score.
7. Cry accordingly to reflect the degree of failure in this four-digit number that took you 13 years to receive.
8. Reconfirm by checking SMS sent to phone.
9. Reconfirm by checking VCE Results website again.
10. Repeat steps 8 & 9 until you are convinced that the ATAR/ENTER is accurate, and that it would not change.
11. Reconfirm by waiting by your mailbox for the letter to come on the next day.
12. Change your VTAC preferences to reflect this score because obviously you know that you would never be able to get The Bachelor of Biomedicine's minimum entry score at The University of Melbourne.

What a busy day that will be.

Hmm.. I was thinking maybe an all nighter until 7 am. I'm both nervous and excited with the idea that my psych SS will be quite good but as for chem it'll be a little low but who knows. Perhaps get drunk as well, I know that'll keep me awake .

Is anyone here NOT gonna look at their results? I'm thinking just wait and see the first offer. I'll be sleeping soundly the night of Dec 12 while you guys are all 'tweek'ing

Hopefully I'm gonna go to a party afterwards. If it's a good score then I'll be in a jolly good mood and talkative and excited and drink lots of punch, but if it's a not-so-good score I'll be not-so jolly good and will work on forgetting my score fairly quickly and return to a blisfully unaware state.

but I will not be too upset if it's a bad score cos it's only one sub, but i put in a bit of effort so if it is not-so-good I'll still be a bit hurt.
