Circuits in unit 4 physics

Are we required to learn that parallel and series circuit rules, applications with regard to electric power. It seemed to be absent in recent exams, is it still in the study design? It was in the 2004 sample exam.

I think its still in the course.

such as
Resistance in series add up while in parallel series ..etc
