Do we need to know all the experiments in the book conducted by researchers or just the theory?

I don't think you have to know the exact details of the experiment like how many participants were used, but it's good to know the overall significance/results of the experiment and the conclusion drawn from that experiment and relate it back to the psychological concept it was trying to test
