Trying Things With The Opposite Hand...

I've been trying to write things with my left hand for weeks now (even tried in my Legal exam a bit) but I can never get any better. :( Does anyone feel really, really sore when they write with their other hand? It actually makes me quite dizzy, and I fainted once when writing with my left hand. Is this normal? :P

Lol, I'd love to hear everyone elses experiences

I've tried to 'become' ambidextrous but failed. I maintain the same hand motion when I write but the reflection.. so my S would look like curvy 5 etc.

Also there was one time when I was home alone...

I'm left handed, but there are things i can do right handed, purely because that's the only way i have done them. E.g. Playing right handed guitar, right handed mouse, hockey sticks (they only come right handed). At first it feels unnatural, but it becomes fine with time.

I'm exactly the same. Guitar, cricket, mouse (although i'm ambidextrous with that really) right handed for the reasons you said, but i'm a lefty.

I'm left-handed as well. I can write with my right hand but it takes a long time.

Hmmm I might try using the mouse with my left hand, might be interesting. I've seen Warcraft3 player WE.Remind use it in pro competitions

Maybe it's just a coincidence but..
Are left handed people generally 'smarter'?

A surprisingly large number of smart people at our school are left handed.

Nope. There is no logical correlation or causation with left handedness relating to smartness.

However, i know sports such as cricket it helps to be a left handed bowler or batsman. Partly because the opposition is more used to right handed opposition.

Also, genetically, the right arm is the dominant arm in humans. When batting, this is the arm that faces the bowler and therefore it helps you play your pull shot better.

Wow... More health problems for lefties. I wish I were a lefty though, that would be awesome. It seems I'm the only right-handed person on VN. :(
