conclusion for argument analysis essay

I've been hearing different things about the conclusion for a argument analysis essay and whether or not to write one. Apparently from past exam reports, it says conclusion is not needed, but some teachers at my school say conclusion is mandatory. Could someone pls clear this up  for me

My teacher says it is mandatory as well, for if you do not have a conclusion, even if it just one line, then you have not satisfied the proper structure of an essay, and thus, you lose marks in that category.
