International Politics 1/2

Hi,
Do you think its worthwhile to do International Politics 1/2 first before International Studies 3/4, or go straight to 3/4?

i really think its easier to do International 1/2. I did National 3/4 witohut 1/2, and its really difficult, since I had to learn all the basic concepts, which were taught all in unit 1/2

I did int studies 3/4 without the 1/2 and didn't find it a problem at all

i wanted to do international =(. It seemed like so much fun, National Politics is a drain ebcause half the year is about learning how the Gov. oeprates, and learning about parliament, laws, elections, election process etc. zzzz.

Int studies was more about issues, globalisation etc.

I didn't do 1/2, and it isn't that hard to learn the fundamental concepts, you maybe just have to put in a little more extra time. It is certainly very doable though.

I took 1/2 before 3/4 and it doesn't really help. If you are motivated enough, the concepts are relatively simple to learn. Several of my friends didn't take the 1/2, and have all scored A/A+ on SACs in 3/4 (me= all A+ ).

edit: Thinking further, I can't actually remember a time where I needed specific knowledge learned in the 1/2. Though I'm not the best example as I live for this stuff.
