3 Mathematics

Well last year I studied Further, and this year Methods and Specialist. I knew that only two could count towards final ATAR, so i was hesitant in doing three, but one of the teachers at my school reassured me saying that three can count now. Is this true, because people have now been telling me that only two do.

All three can count, but you can't have all three in your top four. Only two can be in the top four and the third will be put in the 5th or 6th slot, which only contributes 10%.

There are some restrictions on how certain combinations of studies may
be counted for your ATAR.
In each of the study areas of English, mathematics, history, information
technology, languages other than English and music:
• at most two results can contribute to the Primary Four
• at most three results can contribute to the ATAR, the third being
counted as a 10% increment for a fifth or sixth study
