Hi, not sure if this is in the right section but just wondering if the Oxford Psychology book is out yet and the IT textbook. I just called landmark school supplies and they told me that the two books haven't been published yet and will be published around March. Thats pretty weird.. how are we going to do anything without the textbooks at school?

hmm thats stupid, since my school going to be using the Oxford.. what are we suppose to do in class lol  :uglystupid2:. I dont think ill need to buy a new book or anything, i have the A+ study notes for Psychology, i think that should get me through and probably the teacher would do some photocopying.

Lol? It's not stupid - your school is just in a deal with the publishing company. Plenty of people buy books for their own use because their school (for eg) doesn't choose Essential Maths over Maths Quest.

A+ Notes would be satisfactory for Chapter 1 and 2 although it has a serious lack of depth for Chapters 3, 4 and 5.

I would seriously recommend you to find a friend with the e-book for the Grivas book (4th edition).

Oxford will be sending out the whole unit 3 photocopied for all schools that have it booklisted. The IT applications book is due to be released late Feb.

From what I remember, the few weeks of Unit 3 Psychology is them trying to convince you that psychology isn't a psudo-science. I doubt you need a textbook for that.

IT isn't published till march according to the website so the people and landmark are right, my teacher printed out a sample chapter which they made available and we are doing work for that, but i don't think it will last us till march because i've finsihed the whole sample chapter...
