hi guys,

just wondering if i go to ANU next year, how does accomodation work? Do i pay every month or every week? Also, can i get support from centrelink to pay rent?

Most people generally pay rent upfront per semester, but you can arrange to pay on a fortnightly basis. You can get rent assistance but only if you qualify, and you'll have to look into it to see if you do. The other thing you should look at is Youth Allowance, it's a huge bonus if you can qualify for that, but it's usually based on your parents' incomes, not based on whether you live in or out of home.
