External course transfers

Hey guys, what is the likability of being able to transfer from an institution such as La Trobe within an Arts Bachelor into UoM after one sem/year if I am able to achieve the minimum WAM requirement alongside a low ATAR?

I hear external transfers within the same bachelor degree is fairly easy, however is this statement accurate? I would love to hear all of your experiences and opinions.

Thanks in advance !! :)

Generally the success rate of transferring is dependent on how many others are also applying for a transfer and how competitive it is to get in. From what I understand, internal transfer chances are typically higher than that of external transfers. In saying this though, both happen at a fairly reasonable rate, depending on the various circumstances involved.
