Is it true that if you dont average A+ for SACS or are ranked like top 2 in the class you cant get 40+?

No. it really all depends on both exams.
Last year some guy got 50 and he wasnt even ranked in top 10 in our school (above average cohert)

No, quite frankly, SACs don't really count for much, it basically just determines your ranking in your cohort.

And it can be scaled up or down depending on your exam results.
2009: Accounting
2010: English | Methods (CAS) | Specialist Maths | Chemistry | Chinese SL
2011: Bachelor of Commerce/Engineering @ Monash
