The government starts separating all students in different groups aiming to cater for all different needs. Students are placed with others like them and are educated. This goes too far though and it becomes like one of those scifi books. No one can move out of the sections they have been put in for the rest of their lives. They are only allowed certain jobs and to marry others from the same section. It is highly discouraged to socialise with those from other sections. Everyone is trapped.

You can but you don't have a proper wetsuit, only regular bathers, and the water is freezing so it isn't enjoyable.

I wish I didn't have to wash the dishes, and they could clean themselves.

They do, but as the robotic arm finishes scrubbing each plate, it then drops it into the drying rack... generally from a height which causes it to smash... therefore you have to buy new dishes and you would have been able to saved your hard-earned cash by doing your own dishes!
