I'm the opposite. Can speak Japanese (somewhat), but rarely listen to Japanese songs.

A short, but incomplete, list of the songs I listen to:
- Heavy by Delta Goodrem
- Lucky by Jason Mraz and Colby Colbait
- I'm Alive by Elhaida Dani
- On dirait by Amir
- The Arena by Lindsey Stirling
- Running with the Wolves by Aurora

They're super catchy, remind me of some sweet memories or they have very raw emotions in their songs. I've had people say that a lot of my songs make people want to cry, but there's actually quite a few that are rather motivating.

Yay Eurovision and yay Aurora.

My primary playlist of amazing songs consists of:
Subways by the Avalanches
Innerbloom by RÜFÜS and the corresponding What So Not Remix
Since I Left You by the Avalanches (love the video clip btw)
Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe by Kendrick Lamar
Be With You by RÜFÜS

My current playlist of new stuff I'm into is:
Lay Down by Touch Sensitive
Runaway (Yelle DJs Remix by TEPR) by Mr Little Jeans
Your Time by Nick Murphy, KAYTRANADA
The Salmon Dance - Crookers 'Wow' Remix by The Chemical Brothers, Crookers

Figured this is also the thread to discuss festivals, haha.

I'd just like to inform everybody of the coolest music festival in existence: 70,000 Tonnes of Metal.

Typically a 5 day cruise around the Carribbean with one shore stop-off. 60 artists, usually 2 concerts each, 3,000 fans (74 different nationalities last year), and a bunch of metal-themed fun. The ship is the MS Independence of the Seas.

Also, on the topic of Japanese tunes:

Absolutely amazing track from possibly the best movie of all time, Your Name (Kimi no na wa). Idc what your opinion on anime in general is, do yourself a favour and GO WATCH IT.

Yisssss love me some 30 Seconds to Mars.
not a big anime fan but liked Komi no na wa - especially it's soundtrack

I know everyone has heard this and is probably sick of it by now. This isn't the remix but the original has become the most viewed video on youtube today! I think around 10 days after it was released I listend to it and thought it was phonemonal it had something like 110m at that point O.o

Even if you're not interested in the music, I think this is a pretty nifty website for anyone curious about metal: Map of Metal

Essentially, it shows where all the various subgenres come from (linking them on an interactive map), with a brief history description, and example songs.

My favourite song at the moment by Jay Park! Despite my VERY LIMITED speaking capability in Korean, I absolutely love the vibe this song gives and dance that goes with it!!

I can't remember the last time I actually listened to music, I'm horrible.

But I was watching a video recently and Taro by Alt-J popped up and it reminded me how much I love that song. So, if you've never heard it, please go listen to it. It's so fucking beautiful.
