I'm whipping up a list of the best tunes now and definitely want to know what makes your list? What song was your grad song?

I had Forever Young, and also Andy Grammar's Back Home. The Bear in the Big Blue House song was also a nominee but didn't make the cut!

Obviously, Green Day makes the list as well.

At my primary school graduation, I believe they played Time of Your Life (by Green Day) (plus a few other songs I can't remember haha).

Can't remember for the life of me what some of the year 12s sang at my valedictory dinner though haha.

Really lame, also this is a slightly self-indulgent anecdote, but I felt like my school song was a strong graduaton song for me haha - it symbolised something I'd been a part of for 6 years, and hearing and singing it for the last time as a student at my last assembly was emotional, I guess.

Surely "We Are the Champions" gets a run?

Last year, the Year 12s at my school used See You Again and it was so sad!!

I think we had two? but from what I recall our primary school one was a year 6 performance What Time Is It from high school musical hahahah. We had to audition for the roles too, and I got to be a cheerleader. So funny thinking about it now

I'll have to ask my mum but I'll get on that!! I was going through the WORST phase appearance wise though (I'm talking short 90s hair, chubby cheeks, bushy middle easterner eyebrows) so I'm not sure if I'm ready to share that with the world just yet 😂
