Question regarding modules (might be a stupid question)

Tomorrow some of my friends are thinking of doing other modules that our school hasn't done (e.g. we did networks but he's changing to graphs and relations)

Is that allowed ?

it is allowed but it is not recommended as what you have done in class will most likely be what you have spent the most time on.

but it's up to you..do what you're confident in.

Yes, wouldn't recommend it though unless they're really struggling with the modules they're currently doing.
