The ATAR will only mean something to me until VTAC takes over, after that, its just another rational number (lol, image if your ATAR was in surd form... sqrt(9990) ~ 99.95!)

I think I might say I got a lower ATAR at uni just for the LOL. I mean, what's the diff? 99+ or 95+, my course required ~ 95 so honestly...... does it matter, we're all in the same boat kiddies.

An ATAR is not a representation of who you are, your personal achievements (and I must awfully admit, personality. I know of an extremely rude person who scored 99 who bragged. Like, literally a boast festival... you know). Other than that, it could reflect on one's hard working habits in order to achieve a high score. Sometimes it doesn't, sometimes it does.
