Does anyone have any mind maps for chapters in the sd book?

It's a good idea...but make sure you also understand how to APPLY the concepts (notably in the algorithms, NS diagrams, DFDs...)

Yeah, I've made some... might upload them once I've cleaned them up a bit. What book are you using?

Also, I agree with Excalibur, with the algorithms it's best to do practice questions on them or make a few of your own to get a full understanding of them.

But yeah for the other topics mind maps are good, since pretty much everything stems from the SDLC.

The same one. You might already know this, but the Teacher Resources page is not password protected (which is quite ironic for an IT website), and contains the solutions to all 'Test Your Knowledge' and three chapters of 'Apply Your Knowledge'.

chath, I uploaded my "Information Systems" one - doesn't go into too much detail. I've got notes on Networking and detailed notes on each of the phases of the SDLC, I'll convert them into the nice mind map format when I have time.

To VCE Notes - I think it takes a day or so for it to show up.
