Is anyone else still feeling a bit stuck in the VCE/logistics/applications mindset?
Basically I applied to
every medical school in Australia, which took a bezerk amount of paperwork because I'm rural, and I’ve been flat out over the past 3 weeks with interviews and travelling between states. My parents are also separated so I’ve been travelling long distances between them too.
So I’m feeling pretty exhausted and I want to have a break, but all that’s going through my head is ‘apply for this job’, ‘check my emails’, ‘read the fineprint of this form’, ‘note this down so I can start preparing for study in uni’. Like it’s as though I’ve already started university and I also have to do all these bank account/centrelink/whatever things.
I know I need to rest and take my mind off uni admissions but I’m still feeling so tense waiting feeling like I need to check my emails twice a day in case I get accommodation, scholarship or course offers from any of the unis.
Any advice? I don’t want to start uni feeling burnt out from the holidays
