As the new year creeps closer and closer, the prospect of me getting into undergrad medicine seems lower and lower.
While I can relate to this, if there's one piece of advice that I would've given myself at the start of Yr 11 is that
you really need to believe in yourself and believe that you can achieve your goals, because only then can you have a clearer mindset and therefore think about HOW to achieve the goals themselves as opposed to IF you can achieve them. You still have plenty of time, try to stay on top of your subjects and up to date. At least from what I saw, the people who did really well in Yr 11 were the ones who seemed like they were up to date if not ahead and took their Unit 1/2 and 3/4 subjects seriously (obviously prioritise 3/4 subjects, but don't neglect 1/2 especially with subjects like Chem). I also agree with what Im21074.
Another thing, is that rather than thinking of it as getting into undergrad med, break it down into smaller goals that might help you like aiming to do well in your 3/4 subject this year and working towards that.
