I've moved this thread to the right board and made the title less clickbaity.

i also quite like the prequels. as a big fan of the star wars universe in general (much more so than the original films & the primary story arc of the 3+3 main movies), the prequels definitely have alot more easter eggs and show more of the overall galaxies operation etc. which I love. everyone talks shit about Hayden Christensens acting as Anakin but the part is played well. Anakin is meant to be this really weird emotional angsty teenager whose kinda socially awkward but ridiculously powerful, and what may just be 'bad acting', actually ends up portrays the character really well. It's one of those its so bad its good situations.

EDIT: just clarifying im not saying the prequels are better than the originals LOL

So, Jess alerted me to "Star Wars comes out on the 14th".

RIP HSC Star Wars crew.

I'm more hyped for Star Wars than I am for my ATAR.

OT is overrated, but still very good. Prequels are underrated but still pretty bad. Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones are fairly atrocious although I do like Revenge of the Sith. I really enjoyed TFA so in the hype of the most recent TLJ trailer I decided to buy tickets to the midnight screening with my friends. I guess I’ll probably be sleeping in for my ATAR then.

Bump.
Is it any good? I'm hearing some mixed things, and want to see if it's actually worth watching! ;D

Gahhh, hard to say much without any spoilers (I'll try not to mention the Chewbacca-Kylo makeout scene). I'll just say that it is unconventional and not similar to ESB in the way that TFA is similar to ANH. There was a lil' bit of filler in it, and some of the humour was a bit iffy, but overall I did enjoy it, I would recommend seeing it! Also, one particular character showcases the best acting in the entire series, which makes me happy. Go see it! :D

Good? No.
Worth watching? I mean, you’re on holidays so why not?
