History at Uni

I'm thinking about doing history at university as part of a double degree, but I'm not too sure which one to consider.
Here is the list of history units at monash for undergraduate:

First-Year Level
HSY1010 - Medieval Europe
HSY1020 - Renaissance Europe
HSY1050 - Asian civilisations: The Cycle of Empires
(offered by the School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics)
HSY1060 - Asian civilisations 2: Crisis and Transformation
HSY1111 - Nations at War I: from Napoleon to Gallipoli
HSY1112 - Nations at War II: Genocide and Total War
HSY1120 - Jews and non-Jews in the Middle Ages
HSY1190 - Jews, God and History: The Historical Foundations of Judaism
INT1010 - Contemporary Worlds 1
INT1020 - Contemporary Worlds 2
AAH1010 - Ancient civilisations 1
AAH1020 - Ancient civilisations 2

Does anybody have any feedback/suggestions?
Any input will be good =]

I did INT1010 last semester. It's basically a history of the 20th century ... so if you're interested in that period of time lol ... plus it's a very useful pre-req subject for lots of international studies and politics units later on

and the subject isn't very hard either :)

It depends what area of history you're most interested in.  I like the look of Nations at War as well as Ancient Civilisations.

I would consider: Med, Reno, Jews and Non-Jews, both Nations at War and both Contemporary Worlds

You didn't do history this year, did you? Was it hard deciding not to?

not very hard to pass

very very hard to do well in, I think I mentioned already that out of a cohort of approx. 800, only 7 students got an overall course score of 90+

It was a little, but I find that it's kind of hard not to be exposed to history in an Arts degree anyway. I don't miss history a great deal either (I haven't studied History since year 10).

Hey bucket, i had the same dilema, but decided to choose nations at war for semester 1 and renaissance europe for semester 1, but at the end of the day it is entirely up to you and you can change later on anyway if you don't like it.
