hi im in year ten and i need to choose my subjects for year eleven soon. im doing biology 3/4 next year as ive done 1/2 this year but im debating whether or not i should also do further 3/4 in year eleven too. ive done methods 1/2 and im doing good. the only thing is that im worried i wont get a high SS in further because:
1. it scales down - one mistake = one study score? and im sort of prone to making carless mistakes in tests
2. doing it alongside bio and four other 1/2 subjects might be a bit stressful for year11
i also plan to do spesh 1/2 next year, meaning in year twelve ill do methods 3/4 and most likely also spesh 3/4 - therefore, three maths altogether (but only two each year)
my other option would obvioulsy be just doing bio 3/4 next year, which gives me another slot for a 1/2 subject to try out. however, this could mean that if i dont enjoy the non-maths subjects i do, i could be doing three 3/4 maths in year twelve. i also know that doing three maths means not all of them can be in my top four, but i feel like it is my strong-suit but yeah i am a bit worried that ill regret that.
tldr: if i do bio and further 3/4 in year 11, i only have to do four subjects in year twelve but i have less wriggle room and might regret. but if i only do bio 3/4, i have more options but ill be doing five subjects in year twelve (less free periods
) and could possibly mean me doing three maths in one year. i also need a high at least 90+ atar, so help me choose which option would get me a higher atar thx
