Going to add to this at least once a week, maybe more who knows. Starting a little later than everyone else so let's just say this is week 3 term 2 and I'll provide a quick overview of what has happened so far, even if I can just look back at it at a later date.
2019 (year 9) - completed General Math 1/2
2020 (year 10) - completed Psychology, Methods, Legal Study 1/2
2021 (year 11) - Chemistry and Literature 1/2, Methods, Further + Legal 3/4
2022 (year 12) - Chemistry + Lit 3/4, potential pickup of another subject or uni extension
So far one thing I'm finding really hard to get a hold of is motivation, it is so easy to just step away from doing work and not open my school bag when I get home from school. Literature is particularly difficult as it is by correspondence (shout out to VSV) as there is no in real life teacher or class keeping me accountable for falling a little behind. I have until June 8th to submit all tasks, so there will be a lot of cramming in the time until then to get all work handed in.
In regards to SACs, I could be doing a lot better if I did notes and completed practice questions. My first further SAC I got 83%, which honestly I'm surprised with because I did very little work and haven't started my bound reference. Most of my errors were not in content but rather silly mistakes like not labelling axes and such which is also an issue I have in Methods. I got very complacent with Further since I am doing it just for a slight ATAR boost but I know I could do a lot better. First Legal SAC was a 76% and our teacher admitted she made it hard on purpose so that we would be prepared for the exam. No one got 80 or above on that one. My weak point is task words and being able to provide enough information for mark allocation, started doing a lot more practice questions for the next SAC.
Methods I believe I'm doing ok, at least in circular functions, and I hope our SAC has at least some of that on it. Hoping to smash out a lot more literature work tonight will keep you updated
