Oh shit, really? Is it just vector calc you're struggling with, or partial derivatives and multiple integrals, too? Because the latter should work just like 1D calc, unless UNSW is teaching it weirdly. O.o
Well, hmm.

Partial derivatives is of course piece of cake, and so are double integrals. UNSW does teach it weirdly though.

Surprisingly I'm actually alright at elementary analysis. Fourier series isn't that much of a hassle either. What gets me:
- Triple integrals (I swear they're so much harder than double... mostly the cylindrical and spherical substitutions)
- Yeah, a whole ton of vector calculus
- Can't understand the implicit function theorem more often than not
- This one is more of a complaint but sometimes the equations with Lagrange multipliers are too nasty
- I know nothing about orthogonal curvilinear coordinates, nor Green's/Stokes'/Divergence theorem and when to apply them

Here's our course handout if you're interested

Are you all done now, Rui?
Nuh uh. Two more - calculus and linear algebra

When do you finish up? Any plans for the break? :)

24th. Last one's linear algebra for me and whilst I'm not too confident, more prepared than calculus by heaps...

Prepare for my lecture since I haven't addressed a crowd of over 100 since Year 7 ;D

I believe I have escaped the time period where they send out emails if you have to sit supps unscathed! So now I believe I can officially enjoy my holidays ;D Will be interested to see what my results are when they're released.

Pretty sure I didn't actually understand a single word you said there  :o

Looool yeah you got some weird stuff. Wth is Fourier doing in multivariate calc?
At least it's done, no more will it haunt you. ;)

Haha Linear Algebra is my last exam this semester as well. I struggled with it for most of the semester actually, but since I've started revising, everything seems to be actually making sense finally.

They're too basic...   :'(

Meh. Linear algebra made sense to me throughout the semester. I just gotta memorise how to do all the methods (singular value decomposition, gram-schmidt, QR factorisation, Jordan forms, matrix exponentials etc.)

Yeah, basically comes down to memorising all of those things at this point.

Yeah it has been pretty good actually. It has felt easier than first year suprisingly. Maybe it's because I've actually developed good study habits and have stop procrastinating, but who knows haha

Now it's my turn tomorrow :P

Me too fam. First post in what feels like years but tbh missed this place and feel like I have no one left in my life..

Haven't done anything but cry and scream today, getting anxious for osce tomorrow and honestly not looking forward to break or anything else in life really. Just feel so drained and done, not sure what I really want to do in life anymore but I liked my degree. Bit of a mess. Hope things get better.

You will always have us, babs! :) <3

I reckon you'll do amazingly for your osce, you're amazing and you're good at what you do! ^_^
I'll be hanging around here, rooting for you (and I'm sure others here will too), and if I could, I'd give you a hug rn.
I hope things do look better for you!
