sacs is a huge factor in english could be 3-5 study scores if you aren't careful :/
Is english the only subject where sacs are really important?

Can someone please predict my scores...

English GA1 98/100, GA2 100/100 (joint Rank 1, cohort: usually 5-6 over 40s per year)
Literature GA1 90/100, GA2 91/100 (Rank 1, cohort: usually 2 over 40s per year)
Drama GA1 100/100 GA2 & GA3 TBC (Rank 1, cohort: usually 2 over 40s per year)
Media GA 1 (i don't know what it is out of but I aced all my SACs and hopefully my SAT too) (Rank 1, cohort: usually 1-2 over 40s per year)
Australian History GA1 94/100, GA2 95/100 (Rank 1, cohort: usually 2 over 40s per year)

Quite ambiguous but just wondering what I can get if I get A+'s on my exams or close to...

Thanks  :)

since you are saying A+ or close i'll assume low A+ :)

basically ~40 for all you subjects maybe plus minus 1-2

Hiiiiii if anyone would like to predict me some study scores I'd really appreciate it :D sorry if the information is a bit sketchy!

Literature:
• GA1: 89/100, high A, rank 4
• GA2: 95/100, mid A+, sharing rank 1
• GA3: hoping for a high A+
• moderately above average cohort

English Language
• GA1: 84/100, high A, rank 3
• GA2: 80/100, low A, ranked somewhere in the top 5
• GA3:  if I get a high A+ can I repair this SAC damage?
• moderately above average cohort

Chemistry:
• GA1: mid70s/100, C+, ranked upper middle
• GA2: mid60s/100, C+, ranked upper middle
• GA3: would a high B+/A get me over 30 raw?
• average cohort

Methods:
• GA1: 61/10, C+, ranked upper middle
• GA2 and GA3: would a B+ get me over 30 raw?
• slightly above average cohort

Hi I'm not sure how cut throat SL LOTE is but I took a non-SL LOTE last year and those exams scores would get you over 40 very easily

literature looks good for 42-47
eng lang maybe 40-42
chemistry you should get over 30 closer to 35
methods again should get over 30 approximately 30-32

Hi everyone!

It would be awesome if someone could let me know what exam scores I need to get my desired study scores!

English: desired SS: 43+
GA1: 33/40, and a low A+ (around 90% - can't remember exact mark)
GA2: 27/30, 38/40, + unknown (just did the SAC last week of term 3)
Rank: somewhere between 3-10/85
Cohort strength: relatively high, we get multiple (around 3) Premier's Awards and multiple 50's every year

Chemistry: desired SS: 37+
GA1: 75%, 75%, 73.5%
GA2: unknown & unknown (sorry I know this makes it hard but maybe assume I got around the same scores as GA1)
Rank: around middle (30), out of 60
Cohort strength: some very smart ones, some that are really bad, so pretty varied

Maths Methods: desired SS: 40+
GA1: 33/40, 40/57 (I know, I stuffed it up, I was so mad! :'(), + unknown
Rank: I was one of the top after my first SAC, now I'm around the middle (35) :'( out of around 70 students
Cohort strength: pretty strong!

Specialist Maths: desired SS: 33+
GA1: 28/40, unknown, 18/25
Rank: around 10 out of 25
Cohort strength: top few are really smart, everyone underneath isn't too good (including me haha)

Thanks so much in advance!!! :) :)

English: I’d say you need at least 50/60 on the exam, possibly 51.
Chem: Probably somewhere in the 90s/120, not entirely sure as there is a new exam format.
Methods: 36/40 + 72/80 although this can depend a lot on the difficulty of the exam - last year’s was super hard for exam 2 so I’m expecting them to ease up but you never know.
Specialist: As you get closer to the mean it broadens quite a lot. Ballpark would be 25/40 + 50/80.

Hey guys, i'm here for my ss predictions as well.
Accounting: GA 1: 93/100 (mid A), GA 2: 95/100 (mid A+), GA 3 unknown (hoping for around 93/100 from practice exams done so far). Finished rank 3-4 out of a cohort of 70 something people.
Eng Lang: GA 1:58/100 (High C), GA 2: 66/100 (Low B), GA 3: unknown (Hoping for around 45-50/75 which is a mid C+) ranking: unknown (probs pretty bad)
Spesh: GA 1: 67/100, GA 2: unknown (hoping for something around 32-36/40 (from practice exams done so far), GA 3: unknown (hoping for around 50-55/80. not too confident with tech active). Finished rank 13 out of 31 ranks.
Chem: Don't even care but: GA 1: 66/100 (high C), GA 2: 65/100 (low B), GA 3: Unknown (probs gonna bomb it coz bottom 2 so around 45-55/120)
Hopefully some good feedback

HELLO

could someone give me a range for my raw study scores?
English: Rank 1-2/30 in a weak class, sitting on like 85-90%
Chem: Rank 2/10 in an alright class, averaging about 90%
German: Rank 1/7, I'd say a strong-ish class (me and one other have only dropped one or two marks for the year, the rest are more average I'd say)
Methods: Rank 2/11, I don't know how strong the class is, ~95%
Specialist: Rank 2/2, I think I'm like 3/8 in the class we're piggybacking?, ~70%

I'm not sure how I'll go in the exams! My exams scores will probably be a bit lower than my SAC scores - I have a sneaky feeling my teachers, English especially, set v easy SACs.

Thanks in advance!

Accounting: looked at last year’s distributions and the A+ cutoff was 84/100 so given your SACs and exam prediction you’re looking good for a 45
Eng Lang: 29-32 depending on where in the C+ range your exam falls
Spesh: 33-36 approximately
Chem: 26-28 although hard to tell as the ranges are pretty broad and there is a new exam format
