"Order of the vertex" - Networks

Question 3 in networks:
In the network diagram, the order of the vertex that represents the ACT is?

What the hell is the order of the vertex?
I thought it was a misprint and it was meant to say degree instead. So i put down B which is apparently correct.

But for clarification, is order of a vertex the same thing as the degree or was it a misprint?

i had no idea either.. i thought it meant the order as in chronologically, so i put E, thinking d=the 4th letter haha

Did the exact same thing.
I'm positive my teacher said something about examiners using the word 'order' instead of degree just to trick some people up...or maybe i just hoped he did.
Either way its correct  ;D

Just a different word for degree, sadly. Had me stumped for a little bit and I thought about putting 4, but I didn't change my answer at the last minute like a good little boy and it paid off!

Phew, I just assumed it meant "degree". ):

When I saw that question during reading time, I was like, "Why is there no glossary in my further book?!?!?"
