Are the marks we got today moderated?

just wondering the results we got today, are they weighted? why are people complaining about getting 89 (band 5) when wouldn't it scale to band 6?

If you came 1st in the internals then that's basically the culprit. (Because if you come first in the internals, your assessment mark is automatically the #1 examination mark for your cohort as well.)
