What constitutes a philosophical thread anyway?
On the topic of philosophy, has anyone heard of the Mandela Effect? Where things that you think happened in history actually never happened, despite a large group of people agreeing and saying that they remember what you remember?
It's called the Mandela Effect because, when Nelson Mandela was released from prison, heaps of people were confused because they had remembered hearing reports in the news of how Mandela had died in prison, despite this never actually happening - thoughts?
An example of how it happened to me was how I just now found out that the famous 'Tank Boy' who stood in front of a military tank as an act of protest in Tianmen Square, China, was actually never run over, despite a large amount of people (including me) remembering him being run over by the tank - how weird is that?
Has this ever happened to you?
