Centripetal Motion Experiment

Hey,
So for my first physics task, we have to conduct an experiment and write a depth study for it. One of my ideas is to derive the relationships within centripetal motion by swinging a bucket in a circle with a mass in it. I was wondering which relationship would be the best to derive whether it be radius/velocity or mass/velocity etc. As well as this, would it also be worth it to derive the minimum velocity at which the contents would remain in the bucket or the maximum velocity at which the bucket can swing before it breaks.

Cheers.

Hello! I think those ideas, especially your additional ones at the end, sound excellent. Calculating maximum/minimum speeds is a really good idea and will show a depth of understanding ;D

I'd honestly be deriving/exploring all the centripetal motion relationships as part of your depth study, unless you need to focus on one for the task :)
