going through questions in the Grivas psych book in preparation for the mid yr  :-\
and a part of this question has me kinda stumped,

"explain both the sensory & motor roles of the somatic nervous system when writing an answer"

motor role is quite straightforward, however im not quite sure what the sensory role is (i understand that it has to do with feeling/senses- touch etc, it's afferent in that the message travels from the hand to the spinal cord then the brain) but im unsure of what the exact role is here?
all i could possibly think of is that the writing hand gets cramped ?  ???

any advice greatly appreciated  ;D

The sensory role of the somatic nervous system would be feeling the pressure of the pen in your hands, or the texture of the pen, or like, that your hands get sweaty or sore. That kind of thing :)
