OK SO I want to do umep physics (quite a lot) but sadly my physics 3/4 was 38 ^^" Not quite 40+

Didn't do methods 3/4 this year but my report was pree good (apart from sem 1 exam XD) MY TEACHER SAID NICE THINGS ABOUT ME

Did NQE and got a distinction...

Think I still have a chance? :/

I reckon you do have a chance, i imagine not much people would be doing UMEP physics, and I'm pretty sure they would have plenty of room.

You got a 38 SS, NQE, a distinction, and your a macrobbian so I reckon your set getting into UMEP Physics :).

You definitely still have a chance, they often let people into UMEP courses with scores lower than the officiallly 40+. Good luck!
I won the GAT: 49/50/50.

If UMEP physics is the same as standard first year physics at melb uni then I agree, you definitely have a chance. I don't know how the system works but you can easily negotiate with the 1st year physics coordinator to do a subject you don't have the prereqs for. Perhaps this is the same for UMEP.

You need a HD in the NQE to get a guaranteed place. This is how it worked in my year: if you didn't get 40+, you needed to sit a placement exam. Good luck!

You should get in (Based on my experience - Don't get your hopes up based on me). I got 38 in physics too and got in, and got 36 in methods. Whilst below their threshold I was still accepted. I got a credit in the NQE - however i opted not to tell them that - not really fair given that I was told on the day of it that I was doing it ;)
