Things that trip us up:(

so, I thought us french learners could post the things that trip us up(i.e. our weaknesses), and hopefully improve on them.

I'll begin:
1. quand on doit utiliser le subjontif
2. les verbes comme "plaire" :(
3. trouver des bonnes idees pour les essais.

Les faux amis.

Like, "actuellement" doesn't mean 'actually' but rather, 'at the present time'. Similarly, "finalement" leans more towards 'inevitably' rather than 'finally'.
