Hello everyone, recently I have fell behind a lot in VCE Food tech( year 10 accelerated), not because its hard because I don't enjoy it. I'm a math, science type of guy. I now i will get a not satisfactory on my folio for unit 2, as I have been procrastinating quite a bit. However, I'm moving schools next year, and my teacher says if I fail it will still come up on my end of year 12 summary of the subjects at the new school. I was wondering if this is true, and if it alters my atar?

Yes it will come up with Unit 2 failed if you've got an N on it. It's not an issue.

No it will not affect your ATAR - what you get for Unit 1/2 subjects does not affect that.

No it will not affect your VCE. You need to have 16 units (so units 1 counts as a separate unit to unit 2).

You can count up all the other units you've passed and most likely you'll end up satisfying that.
(e.g. 4 units of an english subject, you'll probably do another 4 subjects, so that's another 16 units completed right there)
