Practice Test/SAC's

Hello,

With the beginning of Unit 3/4 Biology fast approaching, I want to make the best possible start. Therefore, I was wondering if anyone on this forum has any past Biology Tests/SAC's? I'm not fused what Unit they're from. At this stage, preferably something on Macromolecules and Cells.

If you have anything, whether it be Unit 3/4, please do post it below. You'll not only be helping me, but current VCE Biologists.

Cheers!! :)
The GOAL: Attain a RAW study score of 40+ in all my subjects.

Courses I would like to study in order of preference include: Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Biomedicine or Bachelor of Science.

2014: Biology [42]
2015: English Language [??] | Chemistry [??] | Physics [??] | Mathematical Methods (CAS) [??] | Specialist Mathematics [??]

I can tell you that from personal experience, there are very little practice SACs as such available because a lot of schools carry out different practicals even though the SAC is based on the same particular topic (e.g. photosynthesis). In saying that, LisaChem and NEAP diagnostic tests for various topics can be found online, so you can check them out there. Hope this helped!

Thank you very much for that Yacoubb :)

I'm not sure if I have misinterpreted this, but I'm referring to written SAC's on particular topics, and not so much the practical investigation ones. Though, thank you for mentioning those resources for practice SAC's, I'll see if our school uses them.

The thing is most SAC questions involve coming back to the experiment you did. However, what I found useful was to actually write up my own questions for SAC preparation. For instance, if I had a SAC on Osmosis, I'd write up about 40 questions I could be asked on osmosis + any experimental design type questions I could be asked. This + studying notes + doing practice questions was sufficient. Your teacher may give you past SAC questions if you ask her :)

I'm going to lock this because of the risk of copyright breach if someone shares something they're not supposed to.

However, a word of advice to OP is to get a hold of some quality study resources (Checkpoints, ATARnotes study guide, A+ Notes etc.) and do some preliminary reading and googling of concepts you come across. The best way to do well in biology (and Yacoubb can attest to this) is to foster a passion for it - so get what (legal!) materials you can now and start doing some leisurely reading :)
