To anyone who wishes to do Korean SL or is currently studying Korean SL:

Literally DON'T choose Korean I was personally born and raised in South Korea for many good years (would consider myself better in Korean than in English ngl) and this subject was still a living hell to go through. Whatever you do (if ur expecting high raw like I was) just brace up for disappointment in the end cuz only 4~5 people get over 40 every year and plus this subject scales way too little compared to other LOTE so ur literally better off doing another subject like bio further etc which you can actually put the effort in and get the proud result you want. If you've already started Korean SL, nothing to say but good luck especially if ur in KLSM, ur in for a hell of a ride.

Wish I saw someone's note like this before starting 3/4 Korean, this subject isn't a second language subject, it's literally for those people born in Korea & raised up in Korea until grade 7~8.

Hmmm... I am doing Vietnamese SL which is has basically identical scaling... I wonder if the same can be said for Viet

not sure how competitive viet sl is compared to korean but there's really only a few people doing korean every year so I assume viet is slightly less competitive... nevertheless good luck on it next year!
