ive realized these holidays my teachers pretty inapt. what exactly do i need to know for question 2 for the exam on the M-D basin? I know I have to know a case study of a conflict, a strategy in response and an evaluation of that strategy. except what else? subregions? use of water?

im very confused, please help past/current geographers, cheers.

more than one conflict :)

probably 2 or 3 strategies/policies, and you need to evaluate them.

You need to know the general characteristics of some subregions and their water uses, they may give you a map and ask you to circle a couple.

so are these strategies/policies like the national water initiative and the buyback scheme?
then do you just apply these national scale policies to your given case study?
im still struggling

Yes you should know a couple like that, and also the salinity management scheme and what not.

Pretty much on EVERY single exam you have to do the following:

Local resource
-Geographic Characteristics
-Policy

MDB
-Geographic Characteristics
-Policy
-Conflicts

Population/Your own study
-Draw distribution
-Describe distribution (PQE)
-3 Policies for each one minimum
