Deutsch 2010 and beyond!

Can't sleep so I thought I'd shout out to all those doing german
For those this year, how were your orals? First day back was a bit rough but I was happy with it, and glad it was over so soon
We've gone through pretty much all the practice exams already in class, not sure exactly how to study.. Might hit the german tv and write a bunch of pieces.. How are you preparing now? Yay for late LOTE exams
What do people think about continuing language next year? I really want to but I'm not entirely sure whether I could have the time..

Not much activity in the German board here.

My oral went pretty well, but then they started asking some weird questions during the detailed study, including the same question twice. Apart from that it went really well.

I haven't done any of the past exams except VCAA 2009 (moin moin, WTF?), so I've still got a lot to get through. Also been listening to Deutsche Welle podcasts on itunes and stuff to improve my listening.

I'm probably gonna keep doing German next year at Melbourne as a breadth subject or possibly a diploma, but I really can't decide for sure yet.

Noticed in your sig that you're aiming for 43, wow. Do you know roughly what exam score you'd need out of 75 for that?

lol yeah. Ah well, I might hang around to see if next year's cohort comes here.

For 43.. I'm hoping around 69 or 70 / 75. And scale to just below 50 wew my school has a fairly strong record for german so I'm happy

German scrubs is my thing so I'll be watching plenty this weekend ^^

Continue with German! It's really not that much more difficult at uni (at least at Monash)
